Five Peaks
13 miles / 6 hours / moderate to strenuous
This full-day walk begins with a steepish climb, but is followed by gently undulating terrain on the ridgeline with plenty of views toward the Severn estuary and beyond towards the mountains in Wales. More climbs and descents with monuments, part of the Cotswold Way, a descent into a remote and unspoilt valley and beautiful woodland to really get off the beaten track!

Slad Valley and beyond

An up-and-down day out with the reward of hidden valleys, little-used footpaths, captivating views, beech woods, unique glimpses of wildlife and fauna, and some fascinating local history and folklore thrown in.

A beautiful scenic walk starting near the village of Uley crossing meadows, streams, beech woods, and then ascending hills, seeing ancient burial chambers and settlements, windswept hilltops, stunning views, birds of prey, and probably plenty of horses!
